Hank is a true Texan, who loves everything Texas, and hates most things non-Texan. He is a propane gas salesman in the fictional town Arlen, Texas. Hank is often besieged by the idiosyncrasies of society and often has to be the "hero". He has a wife Peggy who starts off as a Substitute Spanish Teacher, but picks up other jobs along the way, a son Bobby, who seems to be the polar opposite of Hank, and a live-in (for the first few seasons) niece-in-law Luanne Platter, who at times can be an airhead. Hank spends a great deal of time in front of his fence drinking beer with his odd friends, divorcee military barber Bill Dauterive, paranoid Dale Gribble (with an obsession with Government conspiracy theories) and gibberish spouting Boomhauer. more less

Trivia (1186)

When Hank and Bobby are in Mega-Lo Mart they pass by two ladies, one in blue and one in green. Then when Hank starts yelling at the employee, it shows the ladies again, and they are past Hank (they are on the side the employee came from). It is possible that they passed by during the conversation, but most likely it is an animation error.

During the interview Anthony flips his paper over multiple times, and each time when it shows it again, the paper is not flipped.

When Bobby and Joseph go into the garage, Joseph's shirt turns yellow for one frame.

In the first scene, when Hank and co. discuss the previous nights episode of 'Seinfeld', the Spanish dubbed version instead has them discussing 'Beavis and Butt-head', Mike Judge's previous animated hit.

When Hank puts the piece of bread over the other half of the sandwich, you can see three pieces of bread on the plate.

Hank says that Peggy is teaching a bunch of fifth graders, however, Bobby is in Grade 7, not 5.

Hank says that the permission form HAD to be signed by both parents. It seems the school isn't very inclusive of its students who may have only one parent.

Peggy says that the book she was given had "only pictures of flowers" however when she opened it, it had scribbles, which looked to be writing, and no pictures.
